Grand Blessings
I made my parents a gift as a thank you for everything they have done for us recently. (Not like a gift even comes close to being able to thank someone for so much!) I took a few ideas from Pinterest and combined them. I saw some cute ideas that just had a wire background for hanging pictures, and I also saw ideas for fabric backgrounds, as well as using magnets. So I used a fabric background, twine, and stuck on some vinyl lettering. I was going to get some of those cute little clothes pins for hanging the pictures, but ran out of time. I'm sure my mom will think of a fun and creative way of clipping the photos onto the twine. I chose to put "grand blessings" instead of grandchildren. I think it was a fun twist.
I forgot to take a picture of the frame before I spray painted it, but just know that it was brown and kinda ugly. ;)
I hot glued the fabric onto the cardboard that came with the picture. (I used the cardboard b/c using the glass would have been a tight squeeze with the added fabric and twine.)
Fun fabric, huh? I found it at Wal-Mart.
Final product!
It was such a simple and easy project! I am going to make some for my health classroom...but I'll use metal and magnets instead. :) Cork board and pushpins would be fun, too. So many possibilities!
